Radio Caroline Show Playlist 7th April 2017

Welcome along to another 3 hours of music, featuring some artist’s you know and some not yet, tracks you know and some you may not. This week In the first hour some oldies from 1984, some of the 7 new entries in the new RC Countdown of Albums.

 Hour 1

 A new entry at No 39 in the RC Countdown of albums  Francis Trouble is the fourth studio album by American singer-songwriter Albert Hammond Jr. It was released on March 9, 2018  He is most famous for his role as rhythm and lead guitarist, as well as occasional keyboard player and backing vocalist, in the American rock band The Strokes.

 369 Hooters One Way Home

The Hooters are an American rock band from Philadelphia. They combine elements of rock, reggae, ska, and folk music to create their sound. 

One Way Home is the third studio album by American rock band The Hooters and was released in 1987.

 A new entry at No 40 in the RC Countdown of albums  Darlingside is a four-person indie folk band from Boston, MA, their 4th album Extralife.

 JCM’s new album Heroes is due for release in early 2018 and pays tribute to the music of those who have influenced them

JCM (Jon Hiseman, Clem Clempson & Mark Clarke) pay tribute to Graham Bond, Jack Bruce, Gary Moore, Dick Heckstall-Smith, Ollie Halsall, John Mole, Larry Coryell and Allan Holdsworth with their new album – Heroes – due for release in early 2018.

 Colosseum II was a British band formed in 1975 by the former Colosseum drummer and leader, Jon Hiseman but only Gary Moore was named as a member. a new bass player (John Mole)  and keyboard player  Don Airey.   Electric Savage Released June 1977 on MCA Records. All tracks are instrumental except track 3 which is sung by Gary Moore

 Andy Timmons is an American guitarist who has played in the bands Danger Danger, Pawn Kings, and Andy Timmons Band (ATB). He has also released several solo albums and has worked as a session guitarist. That Was Then , this is now from 2012

  Hour 3

 Stationary Traveller is the tenth studio album by English progressive rock band Camel. Like much of Camel’s output, it is a concept album, in this case centering on the trials of East German refugees attempting to cross the Berlin Wall from East Berlin into West Berlin, released in 1984

 Kino is a British neo-progressive rock band made up of members from other progressive rock acts (John Mitchell from Arena and The Urbane;Pete Trewavas from Marillion, Edison’s Children and Transatlantic; John Beck from It Bites; Bob Dalton also from It Bites; Chris Maitland formerly of Porcupine Tree).their new album Radio Voltaire which is their 3rd
