The band White Heat are now one of the headline acts at Cambridge Rock Festival and you will remember their ongoing support for Radio Caroline through an ale called ‘Midnight Moon’, which is a collaboration between White Heat and micro brewery The Wheatsheaf. It is named after a White Heat track of the same name. The label features an image of Ross Revenge under a midnight moon. Donations from the sales of this beer are made to the ship charity by the brewery.
Cambridge Rock Festival is celebrating its 21st anniversary this year with a great line-up of live music. As well as White Heat, there’s King King, Tygers of Pang Tang, Aynsley Lister and Buster James and many more bands, performing on three covered stages at Harlock’s Farm near Ely from Thursday 31 July – Sunday 3 August.
