Footsteps 2 is singer/songwriter Chris de Burgh’s nineteenth original album. It was released in Germany, Switzerland and Austria on 14 October 2011, and in the UK and Ireland on 17 October 2011.

Footsteps 2 follows the concept that captured the public’s imagination with Footsteps, that of de Burgh creating cover versions of the songs which have inspired him over the years, along with a few new compositions.

The Minnesota based singer-songwriter-guitarist has been musically active for more than 30 years, originally on the folk-rock scene. He later converted to blues at the release of his sixth album Life of Illusion in 2009. This, his ninth album, has just been released in Europe (19th July).
